Istanbul Topkapi University, formerly known as Istanbul Ayvansaray University, was founded in 2009 by the Plato Education Foundation as Plato Vocational School. In 2016, its name was changed to Istanbul Ayvansaray University, and in 2022, it was renamed Istanbul Topkapi University.
