About Near East University:

The Near East University is a private university founded in 1988 by Suat Günsel in Nicosia, Northern Cyprus. The university opened its doors to students and started with two faculties, but it expanded to establish 14 other faculties, 4 graduate schools, and 15 research centers. Currently, the number of faculties has reached 20, offering 220 undergraduate programs. The university is also known for its excellent education in the medical field. The Faculty of Medicine was established in 2008, along with an affiliated hospital that includes a large number of laboratories and research centers.

• Proficiency certificate in the language.
•  In the case of studying in English, passing the TOEFL or IELTS language test with a score determined by the university is required.

To register at Near East University, there are several documents required, and the student must submit these files and documents before sending the university application. It is sufficient to send them in PDF or JPG format during the initial registration stage for the student to obtain provisional acceptance at the university. These documents may vary depending on the undergraduate or graduate level, but there are some documents that are common to both stages. The following are the necessary documents for application:

For undergraduate and institute students:

• Valid passport.
• Recent passport-sized photo (white background).
• Copy of high school diploma.
• Student’s email address.

For graduate students:

• Bachelor’s degree certificate for graduate students.
• Translated copy of the transcript in English or Turkish.

University location and Campus:

The Near East University campus is located on Near East Street in Nicosia, Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus. The campus includes three museums: the Communication Museum, the Art Museum, and the Classic and Sports Car Museum.

The campus also houses the Atatürk Culture and Conference Center, which is the largest hall in Northern Nicosia. The main hall can accommodate 700 people, and it has a theater area measuring 163.85 square meters. The hall hosts numerous conferences, music concerts, and cultural events, such as the Annual International Theatre Festival in Cyprus.
