Ozyegin University was officially established on May 18, 2007, to be one of the private Turkish universities that contribute to social development through its modern educational system, innovative integrated structure, and specifically designed academic programs to serve the community.

The university welcomed its first students at the Altunizade Campus in September 2008, and it opened the doors of its main campus in Cekmekoy in September 2011. The university comprises 7 faculties, 3 graduate schools, one vocational school, and offers 23 undergraduate programs, 18 master’s degrees, and 10 doctoral programs.

The main campus of Ozyegin University is located in the Asian side of Istanbul, Turkey. The university welcomed its first students at the Altunizade Campus in September 2008 and opened the doors of its main campus in Cekmekoy in September 2011.

Ozyegin University provides student housing on its Cekmekoy campus, accommodating 2,479 students. The student housing meets all the needs of resident students and features comfortable designs and various housing options, including single, double, triple, and quadruple rooms.

All rooms are equipped with bathrooms, refrigerators, and televisions.
