Students are admitted based on the results of the Turkish Higher Education Council’s selection exam. After spending a preparatory year in English and four years of undergraduate education, successful students are awarded a Bachelor of Science degree in Maritime Transport and Management Engineering.

The main goal of the program is to prepare students for positions as deck officers in commercial maritime ships. Graduates will be able to work in various maritime roles such as maritime insurance, maritime recruitment, and port and maritime station management. The program lasts eight semesters, with the sixth semester including practical training on commercial maritime ships.
